Endoscopic Endonasal Approach

ONE Brain and Spine Center Utilizes the Endoscopic Endonasal Approach for minimally invasive surgery

Minimally invasive endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) is an innovative alternative procedure to traditional surgical approaches that accesses and removes brain, skull base and pituitary tumors through the nose.
With EEA, your expert and experienced neurosurgeons at ONE® Brain & Spine Center® are able to access an remove brain, tumors and lesions of the skull base and top of the spine directly by operating through the nose and sinuses. This advanced surgical procedure uses a lighted optical instrument called endoscope for viewing and transmitting internal images of the brain and spine. Highly sophisticated instruments are used alongside the endoscope for dissection and tumor removal. At ONE® Brain & Spine Center®, EEA is performed in state-of-the-art suites equipped with sophisticated imaging technology.
